It's what my daughter-in-law and I call the 9 to 4. After seeing a speaker at guild that talked about cutting up blocks, we started cutting up 9 patches into 4-patches. We made scrappy quilts with this technique. I also like 3 different fabrics with this design. This is the 1st time I've done it with 2 different fabrics.
