This is a detail shot of the current UFO I'm working on. This one is going to be a Christmas present. This pattern is what my daughter-in-law and I call the 9 to 4. You make 9-patches and cut them into 4 patches, rearrange the pieces and sew them back together. These blocks were made with 2 different fabrics and I'm not totally pleased with the finished effect. These fabrics were choice to go with the living room of the person I'm making it for. The following is a shot of the whole top. The backing will be black fleece and there will be a layer of polyester batting in the quilt. The binding will be the same balck print used in the top.
